Klima
Klima is a village at the western end of the prefecture of Heraklion, at an altitude of 140 m. The inhabitants of Klima are mainly engaged in the cultivation of olives and early vegetables, as well as livestock. This is a small village that due to its location combines mountain and sea. The large sandy beach of Kokkinos Pyrgos is only 4 km away while the mountain villages at the foot of Psiloritis are 7 km away. Because it is built quite high above the Messara plain, it offers incredible views of the Libyan Sea.
