Faneromeni is a small traditional village 3 km. Away from Vori where you can find the necessary amenities (bakery, supermarket, pharmacy, etc.). The village consists of several neighborhoods such as Rigiana (or Argiana), Papadiana, Kato Metochi etc. From the middle of the village passes the river Koutsoulitis (or Koutsoulidis), which has its springs in Votomos of the municipality of Zaros. North of the village lies the dam of Phaneromeni, an artificial lake of about 1,000 acres, in which a very important ecosystem has been created in recent years.
