Kamilari is located in southern Crete, very close to Timpaki, Moires and the coastal villages of Kalamaki and Matala. Kamilari is built on the top of three hills and has about 340 permanent residents. Kamilari may not be bathed by the sea, but it is not far from the beaches of Matala, Kommos and Kalamaki.
